Escape from the city to one of the top beaches in the Philippines, BORACAY ISLAND.
Boracay Island is located in Western Visayas and known for its long shoreline, powdery sands, and clear water for swimming. And there is also one thing I love in Boracay, the stunning sunset. You will feel so relaxed just sitting on the beach and watching the sunset.
There were lots of exciting to do in Boracay, like island hopping, kayaking, parasailing, and other water activities. And there were lots of restaurants to dine at.
We have visited Boracay last March 2019 together with our cousin, and friends, this was a few months after the rehabilitation. Where the number of visitors has a limit each day and many new regulations had been set in motion. When visiting Boracay, make sure to have a hotel reservation as they have this new regulation of no hotel reservation, no enter to Boracay Island.
We stayed at Boracay Travelodge Beach Resort for 3 days and 2 nights. This is a non-beachfront located in Station 2 but it is just a few minutes away from the white beach. You may contact them on the numbers below for the room rates.

Caticlan Airport is the nearest airport. From the airport, ride a tricycle going to Jetty Port. There are tricycles outside the airport that will take you to the Jetty Port. Then take a ferry going to Boracay that will take 15-20 minutes.
If you fly to Kalibo International Airport, you have to ride a bus to Caticlan Jetty Port. There are bus companies at the airport arrival area who offers transfers directly to your hotel in Boracay or you can just avail of the bus alone.
